Recently, Mega P&C Advanced Materials (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Mega P&C") was awarded the 5th Shanghai Intellectual Property Innovation Award (Utilization) for its outstanding performance in intellectual property management and achievement transformation.

The Shanghai Intellectual Property Innovation Award is a key outcome of the supplementary agreement to the Memorandum of Cooperation signed in 2018 between the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The "Utilization" category award is jointly presented by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and WIPO. Only three entities received this award, and Mega P&C was the sole enterprise among the winners.

Coinciding with the award, the 22nd Shanghai International Intellectual Property Forum, themed "Intellectual Property and Artificial Intelligence," opened on October 18th, where the 5th Shanghai Intellectual Property Innovation Awards were presented. Shanghai Vice Mayor Xie Dong and WIPO Deputy Director General Wang Binying jointly presented the awards to the winning units. Dr. Cui Yuanyuan, Vice President of Mega P&C, accepted the award on behalf of the company, while Mr. Cui Jianmin, Board Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of Mega P&C, represented the company in media interviews.

In the interview, Mr. Cui stated, "When initiating R&D projects, we must consider the dynamic balance and perfect integration between technological leadership and customer needs.
